Manippara Nazareth Convent was started on 14th May 1989. The population in Manippara is mainly Christian. They have made various efforts and contributions for the development of the area. The sisters reach out to every nook and cranny of the village. The people are quite satisfied with their services, often seek their assistance for combating stress. A pre- primary school provides education for the children of the village. Through faith and character oriented teaching, sisters have been nurturing   a promising new generation. Apart from parish services, the sisters effectively undertake many mission activities and organize prayer meetings.
