The Congregation of Nazareth Sisters started a convent at Muthappanpuzha in the diocese of Thamarassery in 1992. Taking inspiration from the charism of the Congregation and Jesus’ teaching, the sisters have been serving in the field of catechism, education, family apostolate, tailoring training etc. The presence of local tribesmen is very much prominent here. Our sisters render services to the illiterate tribesmen through medical help and awareness programmes. They make the usual home visits also.
