The Nazareth sisters opened a convent at Uruppumkutty on 7th March 1992. This place belongs to the Ayyankunnu Panchayath of Kannur district. The sisters visit homes, work among the poor and the tribesmen. They also help the people to sort out their grievances affecting family life.
