Description	It is a great blessing to our Congregation to be able to start a convent at Khachrod in the Syromalabar diocese of Ujjain in North India, Khachrod is a Tehsil touwn in the district of Ujjain and 65 KM away from Ujjain city. The Missionery Socity of St. Thomas the Apostle (MST) St. Paul region formally inaugurated a mission centre at Khachrod on 12th July 2014, as a part of their educational apostolate. To impart value based education to the children hailing from poor families of the locality they started a school named St. Thomas School at Khachrod on 1st August 2017. With continued effort of Rev. Fr. Paul Vadakeoram and in response to the invitation of the superior of the MST, three of our sisters came to this mission on 2nd June 2019 and opened a convent. They are Sr. Jyothis -Superior, Sr. Jovan and Sr. Diana. There are 9 families as lay faithful in this local church to form a small Christian community here. Every Sunday they all come to church for holy mass and if any function and feast they all gather. Very enthusiastic and vibrant community we have. We use to go for family prayer. Even a small community, for the students we conduct catechism service. Rev. Fr. Shinto Pendanath is the parish priest and the manager of St. Thomas school Khachrod and rev. Fr. Binu is the principal of the school. At present we Sr. Jovan -Superior, Sr. Grace Mary and Sr. Bipina work in the field of education ministry and involve in all pastoral and missionary apostolate of the Khachrod mission.

The Congregation of the Nazareth Sisters is a religious community for women. It was founded in 1975 by Mar Sebastian Valloppilly, the first Bishop of Tellicherry, Kerala. The members have been called to share God's redemptive love with all the children of God, following the ideals of the Holy Family......
